Steven Verhoeven

Steven began his fund accounting journey right out of college at U.S. Bank in Milwaukee, where he spent over three years working with ETFs and mutual funds. He later transitioned to Cornerstone Fund Services, where he focused on accounting for closed-end venture capital and private equity funds. Over nearly 3.5 years, he advanced from Senior Fund Accountant to Fund Controller and eventually Engagement Manager, managing teams and client deliverables across fund operations. Steven now serves as a Fund Controller at Vector AIS, where he leverages his deep experience to support complex fund structures with accuracy and care.

Steven lives in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukee, with his husband, Josh, and their dog, Enzo. Born and raised in Milwaukee, he’s a lifelong car enthusiast who can identify nearly every vehicle on the road. He spends his free time going to car shows, photographing cars, collecting Hot Wheels, and keeping up with motorsports. Steven also enjoys video games, documentaries, reality TV, Star Wars, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
