Vector manages capital calls and distributions with precision and discipline, supporting accurate execution, clear investor communication, and consistent application of fund terms.
We calculate, prepare, and distribute capital call notices to individual investors in accordance with the fund operating agreement. Capital call activity and related investor communications are managed through Valence, which also serves as the centralized repository for supporting documentation. Vector tracks investor payments and maintains accurate records of capital call receivables and amounts paid in advance.
Vector calculates and processes fund distributions in accordance with governing documents, including the application of carried interest and performance fees. We support tax distributions in coordination with the fund’s tax advisor. Our team collects and verifies investor wire instructions, prepares and distributes distribution notices, and coordinates wire transfers for approval and execution. For in-kind distributions, including equity or stock, Vector coordinates with third-party brokers to facilitate distribution to investors.
To support accurate processing, Vector requests a minimum of one business day’s notice for capital calls and five business days’ notice for distributions.
We track and reconcile capital call receipts and distribution payments on an ongoing basis. With client approval, Vector may proactively follow up with investors to support timely collection and payment processing.
