We are seeking a reliable, organized, and service-oriented Enterprise IT Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day enterprise IT operations of our growing tech-enabled services organization. This role will serve as a key internal operational resource responsible for employee technology support, endpoint and device lifecycle coordination, onboarding and offboarding workflows, SaaS administration, access management, and broader enterprise IT operational processes across the business.

This role is focused on day-to-day enterprise IT support, operational coordination, and consistent execution of internal technology processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing internal technology operations across a remote organization. As Vector continues bringing enterprise IT operations further in-house, this role will help support and coordinate internal technology processes across employees, systems, and external vendors

The ideal candidate should be comfortable supporting modern cloud-based business systems, identity/access workflows, and endpoint management processes within a primarily Microsoft 365 environment.

The ideal candidate should also be comfortable operating within a compliance-focused environment and understand the importance of adhering to established SOC/security controls, operational procedures, documentation standards, and access management best practices.

This role will work closely with the Vice President of Technology within a highly collaborative but structured environment. The position is primarily focused on operational execution, responsiveness, consistency, and strong follow-through across established workflows, priorities, and procedures.

The position is fully remote within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Employee IT Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day employee IT support requests
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate resolution of endpoint, identity/access, SaaS, and employee technology issues across internal systems
  • Coordination with external IT vendors, security providers, software vendors, and internal stakeholders to assist with issue resolution and ongoing support
  • Maintain a high level of responsiveness and professionalism in supporting teammates

Endpoint & Device Management

  • Manage company laptops and endpoint lifecycle processes
  • Assist in administration and operational support of endpoint management platforms including Microsoft Intune and related tooling
  • Assist with endpoint lifecycle management, device compliance tracking, inventory management, and hardware standards across the organization
  • Coordinate hardware shipments, replacements, and asset tracking

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding workflows
  • Configure accounts, permissions, MFA, and device access
  • Support zero-touch device deployment using Microsoft Intune/Autopilot
  • Ensure access removal and device recovery process are completed accurately and timely

Microsoft 365 & SaaS Administration

  • Assist with the administration of core SaaS platforms, licensing, user provisioning, access reviews, and operational configurations
  • Assist with administration of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, and related platforms
  • Manage user accounts, licensing, groups, and access requests
  • Support administration of various business applications and SaaS platforms
  • Assist with vendor management, renewals, and SaaS inventory tracking
  • Maintain documentation related to systems, processes, and operational procedures

Operational & Compliance Support

  • Support execution of operational IT controls, security procedures, and audit readiness activities within SOC-compliant environments
  • Assist with audit/compliance requests and evidence gathering as needed
  • Maintain organized documentation for systems, processes, access controls, onboarding/offboarding procedures, and operational standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and user experience

Qualifications

Required

  • 3–5 years of experience in IT support, IT operations, or systems administration
  • Experience working within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management concepts
  • Experience support remote employees and SaaS-based environments
  • Experience working in regulated, compliance-focused, or audit-sensitive environments
  • Experience coordinating with external IT vendors or managed service providers
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to independently manage and prioritize operational tasks

Preferred

  • Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD), MFA, and identity/access management
  • Experience with device provisioning and Autopilot deployments
  • Familiarity with security-conscious or compliance-focused environments
  • Experience supporting macOS and Windows environments
  • Exposure to ticketing systems and IT documentation practices

Compensation

The compensation for this position is competitive and ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to base salary, eligible candidates may receive profit units as part of Vector's comprehensive compensation package. Specific details will be discussed during the interview process.
